The Annual Hillcrest Community Run was held this year on Sunday 4th May in support of the Panties with Purpose Campaign. The event was dedicated in memory of Mischa.
The Friends of Hillcrest donated Kshs. 20,000/- which were used to buy 135 underpants for 45 girls. These were received on the day of the run, and a week later they were distributed with the help of the Ramgharia Youth Association.
There was a turn-out of about a 100 people and some proceeds from the run went to Panties with Purpose. The slogan was from Mischa: ‘Be a Pumba, live in the moment.’
